Suffering

I have seen many of my friends suffer with various things. The friends that seem to endure are the ones that don't compare themselves to others. No one understands someone else's suffering unless they've been there. I never say I understand. I just say I wish it weren't so. Wish I could help. But not everyone is capable of that. But thank god there are some that can just BE with you and not have to understand or at least try to understand. But they don't compare and that's what's nice. They just like you and are there.
